Day two of the 2005 United Soccer Leagues focused mostly on the business end of the operation, so the only event I attended today was the Hall of Fame and Awards dinner, which took place tonight at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay.
As in previous years, the ceremony would focus on recognizing teams and individuals who have been involved with the USL for ten years or more. The clubs receiving that recognition this year were:
 The London Gryphons contingent

 Michigan's Dan Duggan

W-League: Ottawa Fury
PDL: Orange County Blue Star

First Division: Montreal Impact
The following awards were also presented, but since they have not been officially announced by the USL, I will hold off posting them for now:

USL Progress Award
Rookie Franchise of the Year
USL Employee of the Year
This year I shared a table with the representatives from the London Gryphons, who were great fun as they gave me a running commentary during the ceremony, and didn't hassle me over my inability to get the white balance right on my camera in the low light of the room.
I know this is a bit short compared to the other journals I have written regarding the AGM, but I think that will change tomorrow…
