Memorial Stadium, Seattle, WA - Attendance: 1,906
The 86ers came up short away to rivals Seattle, losing 0-3. After a scoreless and evenly played first half, the floodgates opened with Seattle scoring three times in ten minutes to take the win.
It was a tough game for the 86ers heading in as Vancouver's roster has been stretched thin with injuries, with John Sulentic (concussion), Jason Jordan (knee), and Steve MacDonald (groin) bringing the total to nine of the ranks of the walking wounded. To make matter worse, goalkeeper Didar Sandhu fell ill during the warm-up and lost the start to Paul Shepherd, while striker Dave Morris started despite being hampered by stomach flu.
Vancouver's record drops to 4W-5L-2T and 21 points, while Seattle moves to 5W-3L-2T and 26 points and sole possession of 4th place in the Pacific Division. Vancouver drops to fifth. The Sixers now open a five game home-stand on Sunday June 25 against the Bay Area Seals.

71' Seat 0-2 Viet Nguyen (Darren Sawatzky)
Shepherd did well to stop Craig Tomlinson breaking in on goal, but the ball ran to Sawatzky wide right and he centred for Nguyen who fired it into the corner.
76' Seat 0-3 Craig Tomlinson (Rashid Utush)
Utush showed good speed down the right, cut in, and shot. Shepherd stopped it, but the rebound went to Tomlinson who hit the empty net.
