When these two teams meet it is very physical and even personal at times. Both teams have a lot of respect for each other but they still want to win. The Eagles came out flying as Dustin " whitey" Swinehart scored at the 14th minute mark off a hugo Galeano assist. The Eagles continued to control the ball as the Dynamo star player Jose Espindola was shut downand became frustrated. Jose received a yellow for a verbal asault on the referee. The half ended with the Eagles up 1-0
The second half started much the same and a Rob Mouw goal at the 62 minute mark put the Dynamo in deep trouble. The assist went to defender Matt Miller. The Dynamo did get back in the game on a Marion Benjamin goal and Jose Espindola assist at the 67 minute mark. Both teams fought hard with the Eagles' Ben Parry and the Dynamos' Mario Benjamin both receiving cautions after and minor shoving incident. No further scoring occurred and the Eagle won 2-1.
