Cincinnati, OH: After losing 2 straight on the road to Minnesota and Milwaukee the Riverhawks bounce back to take one from Nashville 2-1. In what was a very exciting game Cincinnati relied on their gusto to take it to Nashville.
With Cincinnati beginning to take control of the game, Nashville put one in first in the 27th minute. Jaymi Baily put one in that he lofted over Estrada's head. But, not to be outdone Cincinnati came right back in the 28th minute. Shawn Rockey crossed the ball over from the right side and Robert Burlew connected with the ball and smashed it into the back of the net. The rest of the half saw both teams take the ball up and down the pitch with each having several shots at goal.
At the start of the second half Cincinnati settled in and was stringing together some nice passes. Nashville was having problems keeping the ball in play, kicking the balls into touch several times. In the 55th minute Shawn Rockey down on the right side by the byline attempted a cross. The ball ended up finding its way in the goal going over the keepers outstretched arms.
In the 86th minute the match got extremely interesting with J.T. Roberts picking up his 2nd yellow card of the match. With Cincinnati down to 10 men Nashville tried their best to get to the Riverhawks. It was not to be done however with the Riverhawks skillfully killing the clock with subsitutions and also by being able to get the ball up the pitch a few times.
