A dynamic duo makes opening night a big success !


As the game starts from Transamerica Field on the campus of UNC-Charlotte, the weather is hot and there is anticipation of a great season. The game starts with a Swinehart goal from a throw in by Jose Gomez. Gomez the second year player will be called upon to score more this year. That goal came at the 10th minute. Eight minutes later Jose Gomez scored on an assist from Andy Guastaferro. The half ends with the Eagles up 2-0. The second half opened with Jeff Dresser scoring after a penalty from just outside and left of the goal. But the dynamic duo was just getting started and Swinehart scored from an assist from Gomez. At the 64th minute guess what Gomez to Swinehart and its' 4-1 Eagles. At the 78th minute Gomez scored and believe it or not the assist was from Swinehart. Finishing out the scoring was Mark Pinch from Gomez. Final score 6-1 Eagles and the Blast has alot of work to do.
