The A-League's Charleston Battery continues its series of preseason exhibitions against college programs at 6 p.m. today by facing Coastal Carolina in Blackbaud Stadium.
The Chanticleers went 11-5-1 last fall and won the Big South Conference regular-season title under former Charleston Southern head coach Shaun Docking.
The Battery moved to 2-1 in the preseason on Saturday night, beating the College of Charleston, 4-1, at the Cougars' Patriots Point field.
Paul Conway led the Battery with a two goals and an assist, Jon Akin scored once and Velko Iotov netted a penalty kick for the 2000 Atlantic Division champions.
Dusty Hudock and Todd Hoffard split the Battery's goalkeeping duties.
