The Charleston Battery tied 0-0 with the Indiana Blast in Indianapolis on Sunday.
Charleston improved to 17-3-6 (81 points) and remains in first position in the A-League Southeast Division. Charleston clinched the division Friday with a 3-0 win over El Paso.
The Battery dominated the match from the start, outshooting the Blast 11-5, but could not find a winner.
The first half featured fast, attacking soccer from the Battery who had several chances to score.
Midfielder John Jones had the first opportunity but drilled the ball just wide of the far post in the sixth minute. In the 30th minute, Kevin Anderson was robbed by a good save from Blast goalkeeper Josh Lynk.
After the break it was more of the same. In the 50th minute, Paul Conway hit a cross into the box after breaking down the left flank. Morgan Zeba ran onto the ball and hit a full volley that missed high.
In overtime Morgan Zeba came closest to finishing the game but his shot narrowly missed the target, flying just wide of the near post.
Next up for the Battery is a 7 p.m. game at the Richmond Kickers on Wednesday.
