The Charleston Battery defeated the Wilmington Hammerheads 6-0 last Saturday night in a pre-season exhibition at Blackbaud Stadium

The Battery continues its preparations for the 2005 USL First Division season Wednesday night with a scrimmage versus UNCW
Saturday vs Charlotte is an Open House / season ticket pick-up party. No charge for admission & no charge for parking. Season ticket holders can pick up their tickets plus the Three Lions Club will be open to the general public.
The Battery has added an Executive Chef to its roster of pre-season signings. Chef Peter Thomason comes to the Battery from acclaimed Daniel Island restaurant, Sienna. Thomason was part of the team that opened Sienna and with his help the restaurant was recently voted among the Top-20 new US restaurants in Esquire Magazine. Thomason will be cooking the media buffet in the Three Lions Club before each home match
