Playoff push begins this Friday

The Atlanta Silverbacks (7-12-3, 24 pts) will take on the Charleston Battery (7-12-4, 25 pts) this Friday, August 12 at 8:00 pm at Dekalb-Memorial/James Hallford Stadium.

Playoff Implications
With six games remaining, the Silverbacks currently trail both the Charleston Battery and the Puerto Rico Islanders by only one point in the race for the sixth and final playoff spot in the USL First Division.

Nationally Televised
This Friday's game will be nationally televised to over 24 million households on the Fox Soccer Channel. This will be the second appearance for the Silverbacks on Fox Soccer Channel this season.

Bobbleheads and Fireworks
The first 500 fans in the gate will receive a 2005 Socrates bobblehead doll courtesy of Cingular Wireless and following the game 680 The Fan presents the final installment of the Friday Night Fireworks Series.
