The power rating uses the following factors:
  • Wins, ties (weighted more heavily for road wins or ties).
  • Record of the opponent
  • Goal differential (up to 3 goals, no bonus for running up the score)
  • Whether the win was in regulation or in overtime
  • Only matches that count in A-League standings are used
  • For win percentage, ties count as half a win
  • Strength of schedule is only for games that have been played
