The Rhythm swept the defending PDL champions, Chicago Sockers in two games on March 18 and 19. The first match was played on a small, bumpy field at the Williamson County Soccer Complex.

The second match was played at Ezell Park on Sunday in wet and sloppy conditions. The Rhythm struck early as Jose Londono scored a scrappy goal off a couple of rebounds in the 3rd minute. Doug Schenkel scored a well placed goal that squirted through the defense in the 17th minute. Jeffery Bauer assisted. The final goal was initiated by Ben Fisher who charged up from his sweeper position to win a set play crossing pass that he headed to a streaking Jeremy Fedor. Fedor slammed home the goal in the 89th minute.
