89th minute - GOAL !!! Menyongar (Schneider) - great two one one break for Minnesota sees Schneider feed Menyongar who pulls Popik out and side steps and buries the ball.
86th minute - Milwaukee continue to try and get on the board. They have not given up yet.
82nd minite - sub Dzilic for Loftin...corner kick for Milwaukee...shot wide by Wolyniec
79th minute - sub Paul Schnieder for Morgan Zeba.,,prior to the sub, Minnesota had a 3 on 1 breakaway, with Zeba against and Zeba skys the ball.
74th minute - GOAL !!! Mladenov (Winkel) - Winkel feeds Mladenov who beats Popik low and to the left.
73rd minute - sub Winkel for Adair.
72nd minute - nice midfield play by Milwaukee, then a poor shot sent wide by Galovic.
68th minute - Yellow card for Menyongar for foul on Marshall.
67th minute - subs Leventhal for Gentile (MIN); Galovic for Timbers.
66th minute - rocket of a shot by Lavrniemko, saved by Swallen..
62nd minute - GOAL !!! Adair (Winters) - Shot by Brian Winters rebounds back out and Chugger Adair jumps on it and buries his shot!
58th minute - sub Tirschman for Willan (MIL).
56th minute - corner kick Milwaukee...cleared by Minnesota.
54th minute -Mladenov gets a gift of a ball at his feet, putting him one-on-one against Popik and wiffs it.
51st minute - Nate Houser eanrs a Yellow card for a foul on Gentile.
Milwaukee has come out with a vengence this second half. Minnesota has it's work cut out to weather this storm.
48th minute - free kick by Lavrinenko..stellar punch save by Swallen...Corner Milwaukee...cleared wide...Marshall subs in for Russell (MIL), Houser for Provan (MIL).
2nd half is underway...
Halftime...
45th minute GOAL !!! Adair (Zeba, Gentile) - a beautiful ball sent from deep by Mike Gentile finds Morgan Zeba streaking down the right flank...this time Zeba chips Popik, but catches the post and Chugger Adair buries it in the net.
42nd minute - Zeba breaks down the right flank and goes in one-on-one against Popik...Popik is up to the task with an awesome save at roughly 6yds away..Cornerkick cleared by Milwaukee.
39th minute - weak play by Milwaukee in the midfield allows a Minnesota steal, that Milwaukee defense forces wide...Thunder throwin...cleared by Milwaukee.
37th minute - corner kick Milwaukee...bad clearence by Minnesota, then a solid shot by Loftin that sails high.
34th minute - Thunder have regained a bit of control in midfield, but are lacking on the last touches as they approach the box under solid defensive pressure from Milwaukee.
30th minute - Both teams putting on excellent offensive and defensive displays at the moment.
28th minute - Thunder break thru the middle, Zeba beats Popik on the run to the ball, then turns and puts the ball back across the box, and Jahr clears it iver the end line. Corner kick Thunder - cleared by Milwaukee.
24th minute - Milwaukee breaks up thru the middle off some good touch by Takawira, but the Thunder defense cleared wide right.
21st minute - Corner kick Milwaukee....blocked by Menyongar, then followup into the 18 cleared by the Thunder defense...play continuing on the right flank, then Milwaukee regains possession of the ball, then the quick pass forward catches Takawira offside
20th minute - Minnesota has gained fairly good control of midfueld at this point.
18th minute - Timbers (MIL) fouls Menyonger just outside the 18, then Loftin (MIL) draws a Yellow card. Free kick by Mladenov (MIN) goes high.
15th minute GOAL !!! Menyongar (Zeba)- Cross into the box by Minnesota's Morgan Zeba found Johnny Menyongar who heads the ball cleanly past Popik to put Minnesota up 1-0.
13th minute - Shot from Timbers from the left side JUST wide !
12th minute - Milwaukee working the flanks. Deep Milwaukee throwin into the 18 cleaqred by the Thunder. Jason Russell looks to be Morgan Zeba's marker tonight.
10th minute - Milwaukee starts to pressure Thunder defense, ball is turned away, then a high shot over the goal. Goal kick Thhunder.
9th minute - Minnesota trys a push thru the midfield, but Milwaukee's defense takes care of that.
8th minute - Minnesota has put Milwaukee under immediate pressure so far. Milwaukee just got called offside.
5th minute - Corner Kick Thunder - Header from Coughlin, SAVE by Popik ! - 2nd corner turned away by Milwaukee - Fast counter by Milwaukee stopped by Swallen
Milwaukee start with an early puch towards the Thunder goal that is turned away. The Thunder offer their own opening version with the same soft result.
And we're under way with Milwaukee playing from my right to left...
